This can help me in my personal life by I have sports and finances as one of my sites that interest me. I enjoy keeping updated with sports and finances especially with the prices going up on the cost of living. For my professional life I read about different science experiments or concepts. Science is an area I need to work on as an educator and one of my professional goals for the last two years. Since I have really been focusing on the subject and educating myself through reading I have become to enjoy teaching science more.
These articles would be a great addition to the library by giving more resources to students.

I have to admit that for a long time I really didn't get the RSS thing but I have become a convert. Just take this class for example. No way would I be able to keep up with 9 blogs without my googlereader!!!
It all comes down to finding something that you are really interested in following, and then it is clear.
